Living Land Acknowledgement

Since Farm to Pantry now has a bricks and mortar office, we felt moved to acknowledge the ground our “World Headquarters” occupies. This land is Southern Pomo / Graton Rancheria tribe

The Federated Indians of Graton Rancheria, formerly known as the Federated Coast Miwok, is a federally recognized American Indian tribe of Coast Miwok and Southern Pomo Indians. The tribe was officially restored to federal recognition in 2000 by the U.S. government pursuant to the Graton Rancheria Restoration Act

support movements to reestablish their visible presence here, in their ancestral lands.

people have intimate knowledge of the land make up and understand its deep significance that goes beyond any individual or entity.

We are working towards a better understanding of the true history of the land, unfiltered from the colonial lens. We are still learning and will be expanding this page as we continue to educate ourselves.
