As a way to ensure a steady supply of produce for those in need, we are expanding our Grow-A-Row Program. We help with growing guidance and/or provide the starts for your garden, with the promise that some of your harvest is donated to F2P so we can nourish families facing food insecurity. Turn your “Victory Garden” or backyard gardening endeavors into community service and participate in our program.

Lil Ag Equity Plots & Community Gardens
“Give a hand up, not a handout,” is the foundational belief for the innovative movement of community farming. Charity has never and will never solve hunger. We as a nation have been “feeding” this broken cycle for centuries. We connected with Farm to Fight Hunger in order to address the root cause of food insecurity, help lift people out of poverty and establish solutions that are long-term, rooted in equity and self-sustaining. Together, we are dedicated to fostering food sovereignty, land equity and empowering low-wage farmworkers and marginalized communities with resources to grow their own food to sustain themselves. The “Lil Ag” Equity Farms we cultivate will begin a shift in an important reckoning: moving hunger relief away from a charitable model toward self-sustaining food justice for our resilient community members.
